Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) study, research, and internship practice in Geriatric Health centers. After graduation, graduates will have an MSc in Geriatric Health, and they can pursue their studies in different fields.
Graduates can start their jobs in Geriatric Health Centers, hospitals, Schools, and clinics. Etc.
Language of Instruction
Classes during Geriatric Health are held in English.
The language of instruction at IUMS for international students will be English at the graduate level. However, since Geriatric Health students with master's degrees require communication and interaction with other people and patients.
Location
All classes will be held in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
Program Duration
Duration of the program is a minimum of four semesters in two years and maximum of five semesters. The classes last 3 semesters and the research thesis dedicates up to 2 semesters.
Program Description
Geriatric Health is an academic field that aims to train specialists and experts in Geriatric Health. Graduates of Geriatric Health can help to improve the older adults of society through policy-making, health care services, and Physical, Psychological, and Sociological aspects. In this field topics and contents include Physical, Psychological, and Sociological and care services and interventions for older adults, caregivers, and the community.

General Requirement: To apply for this program, you will need to fulfill a number of requirements, which can be found in the Graduate Admission Requirements.
Specific Requirements: Holding a B.Sc. in Medical Sciences. The eligible candidate should have completed an approved related degree program and should be proficient in English.
