The School of Behavioral Sciences and Mental Health – Tehran Institute of Psychiatry will organize a regional Training of Trainers and Supervisors (ToTS) course on the implementation of the Mental Health Gap Action Program (mhGAP) for Persian-speaking countries in the region.

According to the Secretary of the WHOcc for Mental Health, the course has been designed to strengthen the specialized capacities of trainers and supervisors, enhance training and supervision skills, and develop professional competencies for the implementation of the mhGAP program.

The course will adopt a regional capacity-building approach in the field of mental health, with a particular focus on Persian-speaking countries in the region. It aims to contribute to the development of sustainable professional capacity and facilitate the effective implementation of mhGAP through strengthened training and supervision competencies.

Course Schedule

The regional ToTS training course will be held from Monday, September 28 to Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Iran Standard Time (IRST).
